    Default 17" alloys

    im selling my 17" alloys they have brand new tyres all round and they havent even done 600 miles yet im looking around £350 for them. im also selling a 26" mountain bike raleigh front suspension front disc brake a v type rear 18 speed shimanu gears and light alloy frame and wheels im looking around £150 as ive only used it on a couple of occasions. im having trouble uploading pics so if anyone is intrested i will email them

    http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=48508 they have 215 -40 - 17 millenium on them the tyres alone were 280

    Cheers for the link, I'm tempted as the wheels are different to most I've seen and would make a nice change to my lumpy Siggy Elites. Only prob is that 215/40 17's would really reduce the gearing against the 215/50 17's I'm running as standard.

    when your speedo shows 60mph you will really be doing 64.3 mph = 7.1% to slow .

    sorry to say you got the wrong tyres fitted

    Sorry Chris you've confused me (easily done!). The 215/50 17's I'm currently running on my Siggy Elite are the standard sizes and tyres.

    Are you saying that if I go for the 215/40 on 17's then my speedo will read 7.1% slow? Yup, as I thought hence not a suitable option for me.
