    Default Bee sting aerials?

    Are they all the same or are some better than others?
    Which one should i go for?

    This will be my first step on the modification slippery slope...

    To be honest, it really depends what you want.

    Most (including Ed Taylor's) beesting ariels, while they look superb, are rubbish at actually being ariels. If you listen to the radio at all, either stick with the standard one and keep the beesting for shows, or find one of the very few that claim not to affect reception.

    I do use the radio very often, so I take it the chrome one would be useless?? Just thoguht silver aerial on silver motor would look good!?

    For the £10 donation, you could give one of Ed's a try - it depends how strong the radio signal is where you are. I never listen to the radio so it doesn't matter to me, and they really do look

    I've got an Ed Taylor one and I even painted it and the radio reception was still fine.

    I too have one of Eds creations on my Veccie. Have noticed no difference in radio reception between this and the original. Looks far better too...

    I too have an Ed Taylor on the car. All nicely etched/colour coded and looks excellent.. It only gets attached at car shows cause i dont wanna spoil it
