What can we say about this well.............Top Gear used to be a car review show, with serious car reviews pro's and con's of a reviewed car and quite how would you call it USEFULL SHOW.
Now it is nothing more than a comedy show and the reviews imo are useless unless you earn over £1,000,000 per year.then the super car and luxury car reviews are quite good. rant over

It is a very entertaining show no doubt. My favourite. But it is not an informative car review show anymore by any means. It is very much based on his/their opinions which must be taken with a pinch of salt. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.. even if they are wrong!

Totally agree. Any Vx he drives, he slates in one way or another. The only one I recall him actually liking was the VX VXR/Monaro, and even then he went to discuss the M3....."JC, if you are reading this from somewhere, how about a proper VX review with NIL negatives"!

The Vx/Vectra owners all cannot be wrong. And looking at the new Mondeo, you dont see many on the road and its coming up to nearly a year old! Speaking volumes and all that!

john_k_sri: I totally agree: "to$$er", and that bit about Ford, dont surprise me as he is always going on about his GT etc.

Totally tru, I do enjoy it! I think all the members of this club ought to be in the audience in one of the shows! What you think chaps?

I LOVE TOP GEAR ,as a comedy entertaining show .thats the point i was trying to make, its more of a comedy entertaining show than an informative car review show like it used to be.

He slates the Vectra because he's expected to, I can handle the interior stuff he comes out with because lets face it they are bland, but when he deliberately sets out to make a car look dangerous by disabling traction aids etc then he goes a bit to far, you could see that from James May's reaction to what JC had said, and I guess as it was the VXR he was really nasty about the ST220's musta been stalling off the shelves at the time.

He had to be noce to ford so that he could get one of the very few GT he wanted...
Millions drive VX, it would be a brilliant all-round motor if the stealers supported there customers too.
Whilst i like watch JC, i do take evrything he says with a pinch, in a few eyars he will be on plating lawn bowls, driving a Jazz, wearing tweed, toursers like simon cowell and always wearing a tie.. hes got the jacket and jeans.. hes started.
