New Saab 9-5

I seen a new Saab this morning and thought what the h3ll.

is it just me or is it butt ugly. I think the shape is following the bmw idea. you either love it, or you hate it.

The 9-3 looks better in my opinion, especially the sportwagon. Not badly priced now either. You can pick one up for Vectra money now. Reliability poor though apparantly.

I've never really liked the saab interior either. thought it lacked any real design flair, dont think its gotten any better. I've heard alot of bad things about reliability too. just aswell I bought the veccy instead.

Its still based on the same platform as the old vectra ( Vectra B )

The 9-5 is icecold at the dealer.
Good if you want to buy one ... i sure dont !!!
Bad if you want to sell one ...

The 9-5 nose has been altered more for crash protection/ pedestrian friendliness than style, it might also reduce the drag over the nose - but it wont help sales.

Anyone see a little similarity with the revised Mitsi Charisma (bypass) or is it just me ?

when did the 9-5 come out? - Im sure I saw an R or T plate one (didnt look like a private plate) - it must be one of the oldest cars made - its already had one face-lift - this one however is more major! think looks will grow but it looks like a new nose on a very old side!
