well after changing shocks and upper trailing arms at a cost of 300 pounds finally solved the rear knocking at a cost of 4pounds it was the anti roll bar bushes.my advice check size of arb bush before you go to get new ones its marked on side of bush mine were 18mm on 2lt dti,dealer gave me 17mm which i found impossible to fit,if your rear knocking change arb first wish i had hope this all you chaps car now quiet...
