    Talking BSR Tuning?

    Hi all

I have been trying to get my car remapped by www.dap-performance.co.uk with EDS software 305 BHP / 527 NM (389 Lb/ft) but the ecu is not taking the data
The boss there has told me that the ppc is a great unit but the figures the give 300bhp / 480 nm are under rated

Can anyone tell me if they have had gains more than what the figures said?

    Many thanks
    Chris

I don't know what he means by 'under rated'. If he means the BSR figures are conservative then yes, they are indeed. I think everyone who has had the BSR software have had figures higher than what BSR quote.

Will the Ecu take the data from a ppc unit ? I would have thought if dap cannot write to it that the ppc may have the same problem ? I would speak to Bsr and make sure they will give you a refund if it does not go on before ordering it . There are a few touchy Ecu`s on the vxr`s as you have found out ...

Its only 20bhp but look at the torque, you should eat a few more tyres with that figure and other things!!!!
