    Default Rant!

    I am loosing the faith rapidly here!

    Since buying my Veccie in April its so far-

    Been back to the franchise for a day to find a leak, couldn't find it.
    Been back to the main dealer to find the leak- they needed more time
    Been back to the main dealer for three days to find and fix the leak- TOOK TEN DAYS!

    I went to the dealer to pick up new set of 314mm pads and disks (2hrs drive) they gave me a set of Vectra-B rears so I looked like a dick when the garage opened the Box.

    Drove back 2hours to get the right set, again dropped it down to the garage to have them fitted, kit included 3 outside pads and 1 inside

    Called them to get a really ****ty response, finally agreed to let me pick up the new set and then return the old set when the correct ones have been fitted.

    I can't believe the poor service I have had and I am seriously considering just being rid of it and getting a BMW / Audi!

    Oh dear.

    Shocking bad luck. There was a list of dealers on this forum that allowed us to name and shame or praise. Maybe if this is still active you may want to add them to this list. Word of mouth information can be a wonderful 'wake up' call to a dealer.

    Shocking service, but no surprise as you get the good the bad and the bl00dy useless! We have 3 or 4 local ones, and 1 of them have a complete bunch of t055 pots there!

    Considering its just been a leak, thats now fixed and a few wrong sets of pads, its not too bad. ALthough I cannot understand why you never got the correct part numbers from here first to avoid any confusion.

    Its also been human error on the parts department. The same type of humans also work in Audi and BMW garages. Mostly dim-wits!

    have to agree... went in with a dodgy radio no fault.. i clearly stated it was intermittant, they wouldnt have nay of it... after a bit of a whine and demanding a written copy of the test's they allege completed and the results so that i could send them to VX , they said we will order a new one... still waiting... also reported grinding through the steering, checked discs, uneven wear, worn on both front on inners twice as much as on outers, when going round corners you get a noise not too distance from a bearing grinding,.... guess what! yep no fault.. they stated it was tech2/road tested/ full visual inspection my a master mechanic... nothing wrong at all.
    must be me.. if this continues, she will have to go!. i do think VX do need some customer care courses... as we are in there eye never right...

    I did check for the part numbers on here but there was some confusion ( http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=49421 ), but thats by the by, although I agree the first brakes mistake was the guy in the parts department picking up the wrong box, the second brakes mistake was because the box had come in from vaux with the wrong mix of pads in it!!!

    What really gets my goat (now there is a phrase) it just the lack of goddamn consideration and basic customer services!

    I know what you mean, but the only confusion was started from the dealer! again. SOmetimes I wonder where these places pick up such monkies from!

    totaly full of numpties it sound's to me, best thing to do imo is have a word with the gaffer, top man next time you have to go in and if you get no joy from him a quick call to vx customer services to express you concern's would do no harm..........
