    Default Multiple EGR valve failures

Had my EGR valve replaced in Feb this year (What a traumatic experience that was - http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=40596).

Anyway, engine management light came on the other day on the way back from Dumfries, put it in to my local stealers today for investigation and guess what? Yep EGR valve failure and a replacement fitted!!

Has anyone else had this many valves knacker on them? Anyone got an idea if there is a problem elsewhere causing valves to fail?

Do you use a tuning box on it?

No mate, completely bog standard!! Hope it's sorted... Once the warranty's up in september I don't want to be paying out for a new valve every few months!

Maybe the charge cooler for the EGR has a leak and is letting coolant into the valve... has the coolant level dropped at all?

Just had a look Nutron, the coolant level looks normal and healthy. Here's hoping it was a faulty valve fitted in the first place!!
