    Default handbrake

a friend has brought a v,reg 2.0 sri vectra when he puts the handbrake on it holds fine and will not move forward, but will roll backwards easily, is this adjustment on the shoes as he thinks its a simular set up to frontera's with pads+shoes???

Yep, adjustments are on the shoes.

Need to do the usual and stick a flathead screwdriver through the disc to access the adjuster. Wind up until disc starts to bind then slacken off a bit. Then adjust handbrake cable until brakes start to bind then wind off a tad. Should have about 5 clicks on the handbrake.

Snowman, you got your ears on?
