Seeing as we have already been inundated with PVS pics, I thought I would just post one or two
Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and get together - I must say, I was a bit disappointed - the PVS event itsself didn't seem as organised as previous years, and it was a shame that with such a great turn out and such a high standard of cars, our pitch was shoved out in the back of beyond However, Vectra-c.com were managed with our usual top notch style
Fortunately, we still had a good few visitors - there were SO many people, I really tried to say hi to as many people as possible - anyone who I missed - apologies, but I am sure I will catch you at the next event!
It was great to meet up with members old and new, and put faces to all the names I have been talking to in Facebook for the past God knows how long!!!! (Jay Kay - Ben and Ditch to name just a few)
The camping lark was a giggle except at 3am, when the guys at the end of the field wanted to continue their party, (and the bl00dy DOGS!!!!!!) we even managed to cope with the somewhat spartan toilet facilities and courtesy of lots of food and just a touch of booze, the 3rd birthday bash was a top success!! (Guess I should say thanks to Drinky and his crew for BBQ-ing - oddly enough, the unwanted chicken legs were sddenly very popular after the addition of several bottles of beer and wine!)
As far as the show itsself - thanks to the weather it was a lot better than we'd first thought on arrival - mega hugs and thanks to Cara for her tireless efforts and amazing picnic grub - that choccy cake was to die for!
Sady, we were so far away from the action, I didn't see a heck of a lot of the traders and other clubs, but what I did see was good stuff.
Thanks to clear roads, we had a cracking trip home and arrived home whilst some of you (I believe) were still trying to get out!!!!!!!
So - just a couple of piccies -
Shan's bottom on the way down -
Some of the many -
And, of course - the prettiest girl at the Pod, wearing her new shoes and scarf!!
