Default Shocking news...A dealer washed my car, for free !

Took the car in today for a new front door speaker under warranty. Phoned them previously up to enquire if it was covered, "Yes, no problem". Dropped it off at 9am (Normally when its in for a service I ask them not to wash it). They didn't try the £60 to have a look at it trick either.

They phoned back at 11am (oh no, I thought, whats wrong now), "Your car is ready for collection, sir, no charge" (Fell off the chair in amazement). I picked it up at 5pm only to find that they have washed it...........

I was shaking with fear as I walked around and around the car looking for scratches, with images of sponges dragging dirt across the paint, filling my head. No scratches were found.

So the dealer goes the extra mile and I'm not a happy bunny.
    There's no pleasing some people.

My dealer asked me if I wanted the car washed & the wheels polished at the 2 services it has had. Of course I do, but just as long as you don't scratch it I replied. Checked for scratches when i got it home & it was as clean & smooth as the ol' babies bum.

mine ususally comes back dirtier than it went in, but thats not saying much really as they also hand out 3 day demo cars so covered in mud and brakedust that i had to ask them to double check it was an Astra Sport hatch underneath. Not really the best 'come and buy a car from us, we really look after you' statement imo

Thats Reg Vardy on Felling Bypass, Gateshead btw
