    Default Where do people get their own tyres fitted

    Tryed asking kwik fit and they said they only fit there own sold tyres. Is there any where that does it and whats the average price

    i pop into my local independant tyre centre, ther eloads otted around, normally in industrial estate etc.... have a look in the yellow book or online... they normally charge me for the lot about £10-£15 each...depending on how many i have done!
    i found get friendly with them they help you out...

    kwik fit are good...they charge £10 for fitting, new valve and balance.

    I'm lucky as work has a tyre machine I can use in "my time" i.e my tea break only
    Otherwise I also have a m8 who has his own machine and balancer

    Your best bet is to search around for a local tyre fitter
    Simply ask what they will charge to refit, balance, and valve two tyres that you supply

    My locals :
    Kwik Fit charge £20 per tyre
    National Tyres charge £18 per tyre
    Jim Dickson Tyres charge £15 for one tyre and £20 for two tyres

    Lookers Chester charged me £10 per tyre - which I though was ok - problem was it took them 2 hours (1 hr per tyre) - which I didn't think was ok..........
