interior light

does any body know why my front interior light doesnt work when you open the doors (rear one works fine) tried the buttons and it works fine on constant and reading lights are fine but wont work when you open doors

Have you checked the door switches?? wriggle the ends to see if they make a contact.. Other than that, I don't think they can be turned off so should be a simple fix..

Is the bulb for the front seperate?? could be that simple...

thanks mate..got me thermals on, anyhow its not too cold up here yet...its only -2.....P.S my light has got two bulbs..both working !!!

i dont know its got me beat but it cant be the switch or circuit because the rear interior lights work with the front doors and it cant be the bulbs cos when you hit the "on all the time switch" they work fine only bought car on friday (2.2 signum) love it apart from this minor problem but its still under waranty
