Lewis on ITV

Just been watching Lewis on ITV. Morse was always trundling around in his Jag but things have improved dramatically - Lewis is in a Silver Lightning Vectra Elite. A number of other Vec's on there too - including an Ultra Blue - the king of Vectra colours.

Yeah it was pretty good. Car is looking well with the colour coding Matt. Mine is going to a bodywork friend of mine to sort out the little scrape someone left me with the day before our meet. He told me he would paint and fit a rear spoiler for £50 at the same time. That was all the excuse I needed so ordered one from bodykit.co.uk and will be here next week. Might also get a set of mudflaps at the same time and get them painted.

did you notice Lewis's vec beeped when he locked it and he only pressed once ? mine dosent beep.

There was an article about it in the GM internal newsletter (which I see because my late Father-In-Law was a VX pensioner). All the cars are supplied by VX, and his is a 3.0 CDTi (as driven by all the best people! ). The beep was added by the sound effects people, much to VX's annoyance!
