Default Instead of drilling into the bumper...

How well do you think these would work on a signum?

    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...dkey=ClickInfo

    or...

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=004

I was thinking get the 2nd one body colour sprayed? But do you think they may sit too high?

I bought a 'Meta SR2 Targa' from ebay for £18 - haven't got round to installing it yet as the rear number plate is well & truly stuck on.

AFAIK it uses microwaves transmitted through the tape that sticks on the inside of the bumper so does not require any holes drilling.

I looked at the behind the bumper one a while back, the flaw with the system is you have to be moving for it to work, so if you stop close to something it stops bleeping, so you don`t know how close you are , until you start moving again ? I think this would be frustrating . I used the meta numberplate one on my black vec and it was great, hardly noticable either ..

I would be interested to know how it works in the practice though ..

I looked at that too, but wouldn't it sit too high on a signum, isn't the vectra plate lower? Also how would it wire to the reverse light on a signum?
