    Default Cleaning Off Flies!

    Whats the best way to get the fly graveyard off the front of my car! Its getting beyond a joke!

    I use turtle wax bug and tar remover.. works for me.

    Yep - any of the branded 'bug remover' stuff will help a lot. Don't be tempted to use anything more abrasive than a wash mitt though, it'll ruin your paintwork in the process

    Autoglym Actice Insect Remover is very good as well spray on hose off !!!!!

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

    I find that a good coat of wax is helpfull, It will not get rid of the fly,s but they tend not to stick so well to a good waxed front end, so wash off easily.

    soapy water just give it a good soak at the start the come back to it at the end, wrks for me...

    doesnt work on my stone chips tho

    Or soak a towel in hot water with some shampoo added and leave it sit on the front of the car for a while before washing it.

    Microfibre cloth and a bucket of warm water but quite wet. Wipe over the flies / surface, leave foe a couple of minutes and wipe off with same cloth but rinsed and wrung out.

    Works a treat on my bike helmet and fairing as well as the bonnet, bumper, grill etc..
