i i can say is that im gutted with vauxhall ,

i gave a local dealer a ring about if they could do a refurb on my wheels i was told yes we do wheel refurbs and was told 30 + vat each the word ok when can you do them came right out , by the way there no mugs as thay also sell morgan car so when they do a car its good if you can get your in there to be done .

i when to pick them up today and what i found out wasnt good

they rub the wheels down by hand fill them will filler them "" what that not refurbing them ""

brace yourself that's the good bit,,, they then paint them with water based paint , what can i say

    and there's more

every dame wheel has runs on then im not joking if there is 1 there is 4 on every wheel and there not small there from 1 to 2 inches long .
so as you can tell im not to happy and nore is the manage

what will they do next ?

so the race is now on for pvs for shore now

i told them that they had **** them and if they dont sort it ill be taking a set of there 18ins off there hands for free and the manage was there having a right go at the boy who did them as he'd told the manager there were no marks on the wheels at all ,,,

they looked better going in than coming out

not funny as pvs just round the corner and iv just part a load of cast for some bridgestone tyres to be fitted when i get them back

£250 for the 4 to be done not cheap but it was in the ball park for a good job to be done

How much! Well over the top, I use pristine in Woburn sands and mine were £150 and that included a change of colour as well. Top job done as well.

Sorry to hear that Chris, it's always gutting when you pay good money and get rubbish workmanship.

Couldn't agree more, this is definitely a case of you get what you pay for.

But applying a waterbased colour coat is pretty standard procedure, but it's always better to paint that on top of a powder coating to get the best finish.

Did they lacquer ontop of the paint? I'm sure they must've.
