A WORD OF WARNING ....... NOT A JOKE !!!!!!!

Please read this it is a scam going on.....
If you receive a card through your door from a company call PDS (Parcel
Delivery Service)
saying that they have a Digital Camera awaiting delivery instructions
and can you contact them on 0906 661 1911

DO NOT call the number as this is a mail scam.

If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you
will already have been billed £15 for the phone call.

If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal
Mail
Fraud on 0207 2396 655.
This is a genuine scam.

Please forward this mail to whoever you want to, to let them know.

So far this particular scam has only been active in Dorset. Conventional wisdom says you should always be wary of ringing ANY 090 number as these are premium rate numbers with tariffs set by the owner/operator of the number.

In this particular scam you will be charged roughly £10 for a six minute call or £1.66p/m about the same as any 090 number.

as a precaution just about anything that starts 0906 will be a scam of some sorts.
