Default Just a bit at a time

With the weather not too good at the moment. I have been trying to get my motor ready for Sunday whilst I am on holiday from work. But all I can do is a bit at atime due to the rain. Yesterday I managed to remove the wheels and give them a good clean. Also cleaned under the wheel arch,s with Meg,s APC, then snow foamed them and gave them a good scrub with a sponge, when dry I applied a coat of CG Bare Bones Under Carriage spray, (makes a mess of the drive if you use too much). Cleaned the inside and polished the inside of the glass too.
Today I have just managed (in time for the rain again) to put a coat of Poorboys Wheel sealent on the wheels, I hope to put another coat on later. At least I am gettiging some of it done. Fingers crossed the weather gets dryer sooN . I still have loads, I want to do.

    Cant decide what to do!
I offered to clay Robsvecsri's car for him ready for PVS but i'm thinking will all the work to clean the car be in vain after the 250 mile drive to get there...

At least you've started to get on top of it Ed, I hope it stops raining.

The claying will not be in vain. I will be hard work though, but do the car a world of good, but you will need to do all the other work too like paint clean de-swirl polish and wax. Not the sort of things to do if the weather will not allow, mind you you could get them all done in a day if the weather stay,s fine.

In the same boat Ed, can't get started due to the weather so first chance I get gonna get the paint work at least started. If I can at least get a base coat down then hopefully the weather on Saturday will be good so I can get all the hard work done then, but it's gonna be a last minute thing by the look of the weather

It's going to be touch and go for a few of us. I'm busy all week, so mine will be getting what attention I can give it as and when. Luckily it's not long had a coat of wax, so should be OK.

Wheels are a right mess, hoping to get them off and scrub them, but it's persistantly raining here still!
