    confused Tyre pressure question

    HI,

Rightly or wrongly the Mrs has talked me into buying a caravan

can anyone please tell me what the tyre pressures should be when towing it?

I'v checked the manual but it's a little confusing. I currently have 215/50/R17's fitted but it also depends on which engine i have. Sounds simple eh?

The good book gives each engine an 'identifier code' starting with the letter 'Z'.

Mine is a 2006 1.9 cdti 150bhp but it only seems to list the 88bhp version and the 110 version. These are Z 19 DT and Z 19 DTH respectively.

What happened to the 150bhp engine?

    Any help is appreciated.

They'll be the power outputs in kilowatts for the 120 and 150 bhp respectively. (bhp x 0.7457ish=kilowatts)

I put my rears at full load when towing my caravan, which according to my handbook is 46psi. I have 225/45/17 but its the same pressure for 215/50 /17.
