facelift v grille in black

Thinking of changing the standard chrome v grille to an all black version on my 07 sri in panacotta, has anyone seen or done this? Thoughts appreciated.

I'd try getting one colour coded instead, I toyed with the idea of black on mine (silver lightning) but it didn't look right so I went for colour coded.

I am also going to try and get this done...looked on LMF site but cannot find any colour coded ones (black in my case)
And painting myself would be a disaster waiting to happen
Let us know if you find anywhere that does it for you or supplies them painted

thanks for the replies folks, have e-mailed vaux-accessories to at least get one sent out then i only have to decide on finish. Still swaying to the black finish but another dilemma could be either a matt finish or a gloss!!!

Cheap tip:

I once used window tinting film on the chrome to get a "black chrome" look (guess you could go for brown too )

it only works on rather flat surfaces, like the V and the large surrounding areas.

Try it, if you don't like it, just peel it off.....

i rather like the colour coded look but i haven't seen a black v on a different colour car

The Silver V can be painted, I bought a 2nd hand one for £20 & had it sprayed up for £30. Cheaper than a new one in primer
