    Question Another dilemma for Drinky!!

Following a visit to our 2 local Arnold Clark's, have got a BIG dilemma -

Thought I had found the ideal car to replace the Vectaru - 54 plate 2004 model Signum 2.0 Turbo Elite (petrol) with rain sensitive wipers, travel assist, electric memory seats, rear door blinds, black metallic paint - but no privacy glass, no sat nav (with it being the 2004 model) 5k on the clock - £11,700

Then went to other Arnold Clark - found 2005 55 plate facelift Vectra SRi Sat Nav model in Ultra Blue - 4k on the clock - only the 1.8 petrol, £11,400.

    Help!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

drinky, go for the 2.0 turbo, you would regret the loss of power if you went for the 1800..

yep go for the signum, you can easily and cheaply tint the windows and fit sat nav (tom tom etc). you cant easily fit rain wipers and memory seats and a 2.0 turbo.

I recently drove a 1.8 and was shocked at the lack of power compared to my 2.2, comparing it with the 2.0T would be no contest!

I'm somewhat baised! () but it has to be the Signum with the 2.0T. Difference between that and a 1.8 is no contest. And if you went for the BSR remap, you're up in GSi territory!!

As said above, tints are easily added - as is a portable SatNav. From what I've heard people say about the Vx SatNav, you're probably better off with a portable SatNav anyway!!

I've got Sat Nav in my car mate and use it once in a blue moon. It's nice to have, but I use the heated leather seats a lot more!
