Default Be carefull what you wish for...

Had a bit of a disagreement yesterday with a knob in a Black Volvo estate. Basically he tried to stop me moving into the left hand lane approaching the M60. Speeding up to fill the gap etc.

Anyway I finally managed to get in one car further up and joined the motorway only for the ****** in the Volvo to come flying up behind us about 2 miles later. He then sat on the boot for about 20 seconds before pulling out to lane 3 to overtake.

I had the family on board so let it go other than to mouth what I thought of him as he went past.

Then he had a MASSIVE blow out. Left rear tyre disintegrated right in front of us and he went from lane 3 to lane 2 and back again before finally getting it to the hard shoulder.

Not sure what happened. Missus said she saw something in the road which he must have gone over. Our car is covered in white powder and has a few scars from whatever he threw back at us.

So be carefull what you wish for.

sounds like he got his just deserts....

i can't see why folks decide to drive like total p1llocks...it doesn't get you there any faster and just endangers others..

at least he held it together enough to miss the new vectra and your family eh steve.....thats all that really matters.. the rest hopefully he'll take as a lesson to pay more attention..

Yep. No idea why he took exception to us moving across. The way the road filters (from The Trafford Centre) means that you arrive in the middle lane and then have about 200 metres to get to the left lane for the motorway. After I moved across I let three cars in so it's not difficult.

i had something very simular last year, i was driving to letchworth when a young lad sat right on the bumper and calling me a w4nk3r so i pulled over for him then to stick 2 fingers up as he went past, so he pulled of at the same junction as me a few cars head for me then to be right behind him. so i fullowed him to a muilty store car park where he tried to lose me put a cornered him off and got out the car 2 watch him lock his car from the inside with a look of fear on his face and at that point he couldn't say sorry quickenough

    Maybe that was his problem?

If I am thinking of the right juction (your were coming home from the Trafford centre and going from the 60 to the 56?) The junction can creep up on you. Just as you get to hte junction, Lane 1 peels off and then Lane 2 has a second feed, Worth remembering for next time.

It's the one by the Tulip Steve and yes I know all about the second feed but the traffic was stationary because of an issue on the clockwise section.

It must have delayed his journey by about 10 seconds but he very nearly ended up wiping out his own car and those of us behind him. He was "shifting" when he overtook me.

Steve. I did not know you were a part time Witch Doctor, How did you stick pins in a effigy and drive at the same time.

Neither did I until yesterday. Think it was a fluke though Ed. Otherwise there would be Beemers strewn all over the motorway.
