was reminded tuesday by mechanic(Dave) to make sure i put my legal numberplates on..said yeah yeah i remembered ....left it to friday ...could i find the blooming front plate ..NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.searched for blooming ages ..so sat morning took a detour to halfords in shoreham to get a numberplate ...phone me dad to explain what i,d done and would need picking up from frost a lil later than we arranged....so gets numberplate on (sticky pads for easy removal) ...books car in ......gets phone call at 11 to pick car up ...passed with flying colours...on collection Dave the mechanic said i thought you were going to put your proper plates on ....BUT I did ...evidently the front one never made it 500 yeards from halfords to frosts...£12.99 down the drain........but the kind chap got one made up for me for the M.O.T free of charge....so i,m now locking the plates in a safe place for next year

Good news matey. It would have been a right pita if it had failed because you couldn't find the legal plate.

Happy for another 12 months now then.
It's always a good feeling when all goes well. Just be glad it was only £13 you lost, it could have been worse if it had failed !
