xbox elite migration cable

has anyone else sent off for a migration cable after getting an elite console?
if so, how long did you have to wait for it? i ordered mine about 4 weeks ago and still no sign of the ****** thing

its a cable so you can connect your old 20gb hd and move all the content onto the 120gb hd, otherwise it means having to move all the save games and stuff onto a memory card then putting it onto the other console that way

I'm in the same boat, I have spoken to microsoft and they have said that they are out of stock and do not know when they will get more in stock!

No problem, i just need to find the cd that came with it, i'll have a look for it in the morning.. Its only good to me for transferring the data from the 20gb i had on my premium to the 120gb on the elite, as i have no need for it again i might as well pass it on

was just speaking to Big Pete about this yesterday, and my cable pops through me letterbox this morning,lol

anyone else need a migration cable?
wasnt too bad, only took half hour but now i have to re-download all the stuff onto my old hd as it got wiped after the transfer.........
