    Default Jinx?

The youngest of my mates at work who passed his test on Saturday managed to hit a bollard in his 2 month old car on Monday. After some slagging yesterday (not by me as i was on my day off.....) He phoned me this morning to say his friend flipped his car on the M8 after taking the exit slip road far too late and far too fast.

He's supposed to be working over the weekend but i gave him tomorrow off as he says the aches and pains are starting to set in now.

I know it's not a laughing matter as he is very lucky to have come out of it a bit bruised and battered, and to be honest i'd be quite upset if anything serious had happened to him but he is coming with me and 2 others down to PVS, and after a discussion with one of the others we wondered if we should take any extra measures to ensure his bad luck doesn't rub off on us We're not usually superstitious we are a wee bit worried........

He wasn't driving last night, but tbh he's in my car every week and i'm sort of blaming myself for him crashing on Monday as he comments on the way i drive and i feel he was copying me..... :

I'll agree with you Glynn, and i know there's no excuse for speeding but i generally only do it on long straight roads and motorways. I've had a new scares on bendy back roads and have learned a lesson from them lol
