    I know its probably been discussed before, but are these any good?

    dont seem bad for the price - and you late model guys with these factory fitted look sooooo much better than the old type....

    I have a set of PIAA Silicone Wiper Blades. They are pricey but extremely good. They coat the windscreen in a fine film of silicone as they work meaning you can actually drive in pouring rain without the wipers on if you so wished

    i use the VX retro fit kit..... both blades for around £24 from your dealer....

    works fine still after 12 months...

    i have had 2 pairs of the retro fit ones and both sets the drivers side has worn out after only a few months and makes and awful noise! Will be going back to normal ones next time

    Were yours these "cheaper" ones or the Vx retro fit? ie is it worth the extra dollar for the genuine ones?

    they were genuine vx mate! But its only the drivers side the other side has and still is spot on!

    I can't speak for the Vectra (as mine still has conventional GM brand wipers) but we've got Bosch Aerotwins on our Galaxy and they're no better than conventional wipers. The only difference is they cost more, IMO.

    I've got the Vx flatblades and they're great. Just keep them clean and don't wax the windscreen too much...

    But also look a damn sight better too lol which is kinda why i'm goin for them.

    If I get on with em ok then I might do the back too - have i seen it right tho that you need to replace the whole arm too?
