    Default Bridgestone tyres any good?

    They are "turanza er 300", 225 45 17 91w

    I need a pair & have just been offered a pair of new for £100

    Are they any good & suitable for my 2.0dti

    they are okay.. my brother runs them on his 1.8....

    very suitable for the 2.0dti and long treadwear life..

    I was a bit unsure as i have never had bridgestones before, but the price for them at the mo is too good to pass.

    my brother swears by them, won't change away from them.. so i'd fit them to yours

    After looking on the my tyres site they are going for £85 each, so they are now in the boot waiting for the morning to be fitted...:=)

    I've got Bridgestones fitted to my new vec, so I assume these are standard Vx fit?

    Yes they are. I think they are factory-fitted to 16" wheels, with Goodyear NCT5's to 17" (215/50/17). Don't know about other sizes though.

    Good brand at an excellent price.

    As John K says, standard fit at one point. Colleague had these on an SXi with 16" alloys.
