    Default Parking Sensor Dealer Fit

    Hi Guy's,

I need a rear parking sensor set up for my Vectra Estate, with all the fishinbg kit in it I can see a thing.

My local stealer has quoted £180 for a Meta System Active Park 4 product with 4 sensors and colour matched (rear only)...

    Anyone used this make?

I'm waiting for another quote for a cobra system again anyone used one of these systems, auto express weren't to kind about them

All other suggestions greatly received - Worcester area

it's just the thought of taking the bumper off and routing the cable... the electrics aren't a problem

i've not had a look underneath the car far to wet here in the UK at present. Do you think it's p[ossible to fit the sensors without the removal of the bumper?

yes its posible (if you lift the rear end)

(just checked) im not planing to take mine off.. remember the sensors go to the black trim (buttom) not the painted parts.. if bumper is clean inside and with light you should be able to se where the sensores should be fitted.

cheers kenp, just assumed the sensor's would be fitted to the coloured section of the bumper and not the black trim...

That would make the kit selection a lot easier!

I did mine without removing the bumper, and I put them on the coloured plastic bit rather than the black part (I didnt like them on there)

tempo, what did you use to secure the cables to the back of the bumper, before feeding them inside the car?
