Default anyone got some petrol and a match?!?!?

I know fuel is rather expensive at the moment

but if anyone has got some spare and a match or two I would be very grateful as I have a spare vectra that could do with torching .

I finally got my car back after it spent a week in the garage having the head taken off and stripped and rebored because of two snapped off glow plugs, one of the glow plugs had a bl00dy eazyout stuck in it where some numpty had scr3wed up drilling them out before .

as you can imagine this cost me £1000's... I have had it back for two minutes driven all of 10.4miles and it has gone into limp mode. gonna have the codes read tomorrow but i just know that its gonna be something else thats expensive.

just about had enough of this car

Why did you have it rebored? Increased capacity or just a clean and hone?

Do you use main dealer? Why are you paying for the glowplug removal repair - did you do it, or did a garage do it?

it was the head that had to be rebored and a new thread put it because the muppet who tried to get the glow plug out before made such a hash of it.

my father in law owns his own service garage (he was a vx technician for over 28 yrears) so he does all of the work for me, so i pay trade for parts and heavily discounted rates of labour but he has to subcontract some stuff that cant do for himself, even still it all adds up.

I had asked him to change the glow plugs as part of the service he was doing for me and thats when he discovered someone else's f*ck up.

hopefully what is wrong with it this time isnt too bad as i really like this vectra.
