    Default Suggestions / Opinions Please:

HI GUYS, I'M IN TWO MINDS AS TO KEEP MY '04 VEC ESTATE AS IT IS, OR GO TO THE EXPENSE AND BALL ACHE OF GETTING IT FACELIFTED??

I'M ONLY THINKING OF THE FACELIFT AS I'M PLANNING TO KEEP IT FOR ANOTHER FEW YEARS AS ITS FINISHED BEING PAID FOR AND I WANT THE ENJOYMENT OF NOT HAVING TO PAY FOR A CAR FO A WHILE.

I'M IN TWO MINDS THO BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE THE SQUARE STYLING OF THE PRE-FACELIFT C's FRONTEND, BUT IF I INTEND TO KEEP IT FOR ANOTHER 4 - 5 YEARS, WILL IT LOOK REALLY DATED????
(but i also think on the right car, the facelift looks pretty cool too!)

SO, WHAT DO YOU GUYS RECKON?? WHICH LOOKS BETTER?
ALSO, IF I DID FACELIFT IT, WHERE DO I STAND WITH DICK TURPIN, I MEAN THE INSURANCE????

THANKS IN ADVANCE, I'M OFF TO WORK A NIGHT SHIFT SO WONT BE ABLE TO REPLY TILL TOMORROW NOW.

FIRSTLY, STOP SHOUTING. Caps Lock is middle row, left hand side. Ctrl-B takes off the bold font

Personally I prefer the facelift anyway, so if you're considering that upgrade then hell yeah! A few members have done it already, but its probably not a cheap mod unless you can find all the parts at a scrappy.

And FFS, tell the insurance... If you don't, then bump it and it needs repairing, they'll only repair it to what it should be. Or they'll just refuse to pay out, which is more likely.

I don't see the point in doing the facelift mod thing. At the end of the day, you bought it how it loked, so why radically change it now?

Also, will you really have it for another 4-5 years??
I've had mine nearly 3 years now, and I don't think I'll still have it at the end of this year.

Get it facelifted m8,it'll be like driving a new car and you'll be alot happier in it,if you can get the panel's in the same colour as your car then that cuts the cost considerably,be cheaper in the long run.......

yep, if you're planning on keeping it for a while just get the bits one at a time and keep an eye out for the same colour panels as Glen says.

I like both tbh but rather than spend a small fortune of performing the mod - sell it and buy a facelift...your payments will be smaller as you will have a decent deposit. Thats what I would do anyway, you do what makes you happy.

Cheers guys, I was thinking more towards the facelift mod as it would be a current model, but then i'm thinking that there aint much point anyway as it's due for replacement soon anyway, so....maybe I should accept that i've got the pre-facelift and do what so of the guys have said and just fit an irmy kit???
