    Default Knocking On Drivers Side

    IVE GOT A KNOCK IT SEEMS TO COMING FROM DRIVERS SIDE WHEEL AREA, ONLY DOES IT OVER SPEED BUMPS OR ROADS THAT ARE A LITTLE BIT UNEVEN,ONLY HAD THE CAR A FEW WEEKS SO HAVENT HAD A CHANCE TO HAVE A PROPER LOOK AROUND ANY HELP WOULD BE MOST WELCOME

    hi how do i change them and what is the cost of them sorry to be a pain but i aint don much work on vectras but just learning and i must say great site

    they are really easy.. all you'll need is a 17mm spanner and an 18mm socket..

    jack and support the car on a stand, remove roadwheel..

    undo either end of the bolt on the link.. the spanner goes behind the plate/bar onto two flats on the balljoints shaft ( have a look on the new one to see) to stop it turning as you undo the nut..time to do it?...15 mins a side tops..

    parts are avaliable from ebay for £12 upwards..unless you have a really 'trick' car with IDS then one size fits all..
