    Default Creaking Window

Now summer has come, i've started having the drivers window down,
Only problem is that it creaks, not when moving up and down but when it's just open wherever i've opened it to, Its driving me mad, it's like it's flexing in the frame, any idea's?

Car is an 06 but out of warranty - milage.

I had this same problem in a Vectra B. In the end, I ended up getting a used icelol stick and splitting it in two and using it to spread grease right inside the centre of the rubber.

I also had to take the door panel off and put grease in the mechanism, where the rollers roll/run on the metal. I was the same mate, it drove me f0ck1ng insane and it even used to creak when the bleeder was shut so had to do something.

Reason for ensuring it goes right in the centre of the window rubber was so it dont make marks on the actual glass, although I did have to wind it up and down a few time and put a cloth on the edge at the same time wipe away the excess grease.

    Seemed to do the trick.

Weird thing was minse used to do it in the winter ??? ???

Mine also used to get stuck at random places, dont know if yours has the same problem. If the car is out of warranty, maybe worth having a go, but I dont know if it would be the same problem as on the Vectra B.

    Bye bye Vec B

Mine does this a little bit too.
The Vectra B I had before was bad for it. As mentioned above clear silicone spray in the crease where the glass runs may help.
