    Default Front mudgaurds...

Forgive me for being thick, thought I was reasonably intelligent, but I can't make sense of the destructions for fitting the front mudgaurds!.........anyone fitted these? The pic's that accompany the bits are a little vague

    Duncan.

yep they are a bit vague!!
from memory now you have got a torx screw that screws into the clip supplied on the underside of the side skirt that is the first fixing point (if you offer the mudflap up you will see where it goes )then you drill a 7mm/8mm hole into the arch liner and fit mudflap with plastic rivet supplied.
i hope thats a little bit helpfull

i fitted front and back mudflaps on my car today, took around half and hour. My kit never came with the relevant fittings ie rivets and screws so i went to my work and got self tapping screws and bolts for underneath. eveything works fine with self tappers and the bolts for the front flaps so might be an idea jsut to use this method if your struggling..

Thanks for the reply, but I reckon the fitting will be easier now, just couldn't see in the pic/instructions where rivets went....know now!
