It's been on autotrader for a few weeks now, it started off at £7000 which could have easily been a mistake but then it dropped to £5000. (I'm sure the pictures have been on another ad too)
If I had even the slightest inclination that this wasn't a scammer then i'd have been down like shot.
If everything with it were kosher i'd have ripped his arms off for it.
£5k for a VXR just isn't quite right![]()
I've just rang for it, the kid who answered the phone told me his dad whose selling it was too busy cleaning the caravan out and dumping the trash over by the picnic area to come to the phone, but he did say the reason it was so cheap is because the drivers door is bent back and the ignition barrel is missing and he thinks they damaged the steering when they hit a kerb getting away from the law.
The phone number given shows..............
"Oftel records show that numbers starting 020 3014 are allocated to Global Crossing (UK) Ltd."
Which is a internet based telephone number (i think). Accessible from any computer or caravan..........![]()
i just phoned for the vectra estate, the number given is not in use.
If you were trying to sell a motor, wouldn't you at least clean it to show it at it's best in the pics
Pikeys or what? I think you've all summed it up nicely. Checked the DVLA site and yes, it is taxed![]()
