Doesn't look worth the effort to me. That's more than a light shunt. Looks like it'll cost a lot to fix and I'll doubt you'll get the 3K back if you stripped it and sold it as parts.
This bit looks particularly worrying.
This bit looks well out of place and cant for the life of me figure out what it is....
power steering pump mate!!!
should be at the front corner behind bumper skin
What I was wondering is if you buy 1 with a light frontal, could you put on facelift wings, bonnet and bumper etc ?
In theory yes, but you would have to modify the light looms, which should not be too much trouble. Personally I would not do it on a perfectly good car, but a damaged one would certianly make me do it.Originally Posted by Bainie
As per the others, that car is not easy to fix.
The damage is severe.
Not viable -£3K is too much IMO, I doubt you'll recover the cost.
HTH
air bags etc will cost a lot to replace
I was just looking at it for some thing to do next weekend
the front end parts are easyish to get just pick up a rear ended cat b vectra c an get swapping over say 2k max an that will be back on the road
i did not want it for my self some one asked me to get it fixed for them
It does look quite severe, slightly more than a light tap it has to be said...
Is it Recorded on the Insurance database? What category has it been classified?
