v nice ! tbh I don't know how much these go for, but I will take your word that its a bargain!
Yep, worth peanuts now, and fuel prices not helping !!
Yup fuel prices ain't helpin them at all
I also think that the VXR above is a 255bhp version, which do go fairly cheap because most who want a VXR go for the 280 version. V good deal though as it doesn't cost much to get the 255 upto 300bhp.
looks good ..will get one some day but fancy the astra ,,,till then i am more than happy with the siggie ive got ... iv'e got bsr (ppc) unit on order that will kick in a few more horses...running 186 bhp just now which is awsome ..another 25 or 30 would be mind blowing ...will post results maybe thursday
Ex hire/lease car lads, totally thrashed, and not a good buy at all right now, 10k seems about right given it's history, the genuine one for 13k will also need to drop to shift it, someone could take a gamble and get one for a knockdown and hope the fuel thing ends and the pump price drops by at least 25% and then re advertise it for a few k more than they paid.

if it was a 'bus' i'd have had it..
LOL..to be honest Ian, she's just as uncertain what to do as I am at the moment..
i'm in the very lucky position of being able to buy a VXR 280 estate today if i wanted.. she was really impressed with them on the track day and driving a manual didn't hurt my old bike injury so it's looking good on the VXR front...
OR...do i keep the GSi for another 6 - 12 months, but have some 'fun' with it now we have the bog standard elite 2.8T as a work car...i've been hankeing after a set of fast road cams for it and a set of equal lenght headers/sports cat/stainless system...see, the thing is, its already as quick in a straight line as a VXR (as proved by drinky) so if i can 'work' on the power delivery up the top of the rev range then there's little point in changing till the insignia VXR decides to pop it's head up...
Torn between what to do....
