    Default pair of Eagle F1s

    2 goodyear eagle F1s 225/45/17

Long story, but had these put on back of my car while I wore out the two remaining 215/50s on the front. I then bought 2 identical 225/45s. Shortly after found out on here that my car should have XL rated tyres, so went back & complained. Got the two fronts swapped FOC (were only on there a couple of weeks) and the garage kept them. The rears were partially refunded as “second hand” these are the rears that I have for sale

These were only ever on the rear of my car (3.0 Estate) & I never carried any heavy loads with them. The 3.0 remember should have the XLs. I don’t think any harm has come to these however as they were never put on the front. If they had been I would not sell them!

Only done about 4,000 miles and as you can see have loads of tread left.

    Chichester area.

    £70 the pair. Collection only.

Edit - Cant seem to upload any pics. These are the directional version.

If interested PM you e-mail address & I'll forward you the pics.

    Cheers

Thanks, but the problem is my images are larger than 100k, and even saving them as "thumbnails" they are still >100K.

Funny thing is sometimes I can upload even though they are >100k ?

What type of Eagle F1 are they?
What are the load and speed ratings?
Have a look at the maximum load, what is it in kg?

You can actually use these tyres on a 3.0 V6 CDTI, so long as they are rated at 91W or higher, or they are rated at a maximum load of 620kg or higher

According to VXL & Goodyear the non XLs are fine on manual hatch & saloon 3.0. However, all estate 3.0s, all signum 3.0s and all autos (whether estate, hatch or saloon and signum autos) need XLs.

I've got two young kids and won't be taking any chances. Just not worth it IMO.
