    Default Brakes i'm confused

I know people upgrade to 314 mm or similar. But do these also go on the back. So it's all round 314mm and masive calipers.
I'm not sure what size brakes i have as standard on the front and the back
I was just looking at LMF and they have 314mm upgrade. Is this 2 calipers and 2 discs and pads ?
    Like i say i'm confused.

Here's what I have on my standard V6 CDTI, also fitted to the 2.0 Turbo and 3.2 V6

    Front -
    314mm ventilated discs

    Rear -
    292mm ventilated discs

On the 1.9 CDTI you have -
    285mm ventilated / 278mm solid

The only model that differs from any of these is the 2.0 Turbo, which has front -
    302mm ventilated

    Not strictly true!!!!!

Early 3.2 GSi's had 302mm fronts as well.

    Like i say i'm confused.
The LMF kit is for the fronts only (the backs work the handbrake too m8 )
It's a complete it, nowt else required. Biggest rears you can get for yours will be the 292mm vented.

Do that and you will have some serious stopping power I found that out on Thursday, car stopped in front and i was in my own world For a big old bus it stopped on a sixpence

yep.. you can't beat bigger stoppers.....

now looking into 345mm setup for the front of mine as i've got extra power coming.....

Shan.. get the 314mm kit mate...it's a must....and have a word with chris about the adaptor brackets for the rear calipers...then the 292mm discs and pads will only cost you another £47+V....

Mark how much for front discs and pads grooved or drilled one's which is best?
Chris had his name down allready to do the job
Just getting myself confused with it all.
So about 55 quid for discs and pads for the rear and i remeber somebody promising me front 314mm calipers
And ??? for front vented 314mm discs and pad's

Re-read the original post and you will see that I already included that, it's only the fronts that are different
