V6 Cdti Oil Change

went to vauxhall today and picked up all the gear for an oil change and done it
got everything through the trade club thank god

£55 all in didn't think that was to bad considering people are quoting silly money for the oil filter alone.
but had to go back for more oil

Can you supply a list of those part numbers please?

This is the oil filter




it was just an intermediate oil change did not do the other filters as they are not due i just like to do regular oil changes.the oil is just vauxhalls own 5w-30 fully synthetic oil hope this helps.

The very best thing you can do for your engine is to use it - alot. Get it warm and keep it warm, and second to that do oil changes when required.

i know mate they recommend 20k on that long life fully-synthetic 5w-30 but i prefer 8-10k changes just piece of mind mate

think it was reqiured ste the oil was very black and did not fancy doing another 10k on it

Doing mine soon, Vaux say 20k, doing interim oil changes at 10k though

Not saying it wasn't needed. Diesel lube oil is always black. The new oil will be black within 1000 miles, as it holds carbon in a dispersed suspension - which it is supposed to do.

if even a 1000 miles ive seen me put to much oil in and draining it out and it being black in a matter of minutes
