    Default Absolute Twaddle!

A friend of mine has a 2yr old renault clio. It has a problem whereas it just cuts out, the last time it did it on a roundabout..

the main stealers response to the problem was.....wait for it.....

"Have you been changing your normal route to work recently, the engine doesn't like this as it could be moving in a different way due to the different roads you have been on"

now I'm not an oxford scholar!, but when did cars have AI programmed into them!

    I'm god smacked.

I can imagine it now -'Sorry boss, I'm late because my car wanted me to turn left to the McDonalds instead of right to work'.

I remember once when going to work on the bike I took a different route, came up to a left hander and the bike didn`t know about it, through a hedge and into somebody`s garden ...Same thing ....

I bought a brand new Ford Escort (sorry guys) a few years ago that wanted to pull over to the kerb. It wore the edges of the tyres away in 1500 miles!!! They blamed the camber on the roads They had it back 6 times, changing tyres, steering rack, suspension arms etc. They eventually changed the car for another brand new one 6 months later. I suppose i should have driven on roads that were perfectly flat!
