    Default Crome strip under windows

    what is the best product to clean the crome strip under the windows on my signum, no matter what i have tried i cant get rid of a horrible dull white finish on it.

    Its a bad batch of trims mate,you'll have to replace them,not cheap either,£18 iirc........

    That's cos they're plastic coating over chrome. Water / moisture gets in between the two and discolours the chrome. Only answer IMO is to replace

    I polished mine out with NXT 3 years ago and came up perfect. Just done them again with #83

    Yep tried everything on mine and no improvement, was gona leave them but guarage just replaced one because of leak so now others stand out like a sore thumb. Here goes another £100 plus

    Anybody know how easy/difficult they are to replace or any hints and tips?

    The strips on the doors just pull off,the new ones just push into place.The quarter window strip is part of the window,the whole unit including the glass has to replaced.

    hi
    rear quarters to be replaced will need most of the boot fitting to be removed.
    if its you first time to do it. i would set aside half a day to do it.
