    has anyone done it? if so, how hard was it?

    Are you talking complete dash removal?

    I wouldn't think it was too hard as long as you took your time and made sure the loom can go back properly etc

    If it's just instruments, then chris gettings did a How 2 if I remember when he did his blue leds and it didn't look too difficult. Cabby's also removed his instruments to change the surrounds so it can't be that difficult!

    If it's the whole dash, then that's a bit different!

    it's the whole dash.. and it's to replace the airbox.

    yes, but just wondering now if I change the airbox could I go the climate control route...

    I tell you now it's NOT worth it. I have the rear vents, and they don't do an awful lot with the full climate control. I (pointlessly) took the dash out of my old escort and it was never the same afterward.

    I don't think climate control is possible on any Vectra but the Elite. It is not even an optional extra on the Life, Exclusive, SRI or Design.
