Think the autoglym one is only a fiver,£6 max......
and is it gonna shift the stuff?
got loads up the car like a pile of mud off road works
See if anyone in your region can let you have some Tardis (it tends to be sold in bulk) - you won't need much - you could have some of mine but I think it would cost more than a fiver to drive down to Swindon.
I have some you can borrow it is autoglymn tar remover if you fancy a drive over to sutton you can borrow it.
AutoSmart Tardis is awesome stuff, yes it costs more than £5 to buy but you get a hell of a lot more of it for your £12.50 thats it cost me.
5 litres for £12.50 or £5 for 325ml
As Ed said, if you don't mind the drive to Stoke I've got some I'd be happy to share.
But seriously, for the price, order a bottle of the tar remover from Auto-Brite. It's probably only about a fiver delivered and it's so much better than the Autoglym stuff.

I tried some Turtle wax Tar Remover today & it's way to slow to remove tar spots and hard work
But it could be that its the tar spots were baked on,
i just got the Vectra two half years old & it WAS coved in tar spots
when you run your hand over the bodywork it was like sandpaper
even though it looked good
5 hours later & it's back to smooth as silk
Claying it worked wonders
Then a couple of coats of P21s
I always use White Spirit or Turps Substitute, has never harmed the paint as I polish it off after, then re-apply another layer of wax. Shifts Tar spots in seconds.
Halfords bug and tar remover - I'm happy with it £4.99
