Tyre Fitters!

Got a quote for two tyres(215/50/17 95W) this morning and the local fitters said they would match the price and they have them in stock. £110 each

Had them done this morning and have just had a look at them and they have fitted the wrong tyres They have fitted 91W instead.

Phoned them to tell them that I need the 95W as its a V6. After aguing with me and saying that they would be ok, they said they would phone Goodyear and find out. Goodyear confirmed what I said and now I have two new tyres on order.


What is really worrying is the lack of knowledge of proffesional fitters, which can cost the motorist as your insurance can become void when using the wrong tyres.

If I had not learnt about the tyres on this site I may well have let this go as I would presume they know best
