    Default Shipping of Wheels

    Greetings,
Does anyone have any experience with shipping of wheels by courier? Who did you use, how did you go about packing them?

    Thanks!

I recently sent 4 alloys with tyres to Vec-Trance in Kent from Manchester and used a courier service of Ebay called Paisley Freight Service

They collected on the day arranged and delivered the following morning with no problems.

Wrapped them in two layers of bubble wrap then cardboard then in a bleck bag then labelled.
Vec-Trance has posted up that he was very happy with both the wrapping and courier service.

I work for a large courier company and would advise to avoid those who use an automatic sort to sort the parcels, the good get bashed about quite a bit.

Avoid the big 4 TNT,UPS, Parcel Force and DHL

I would reccomend any of the following

ANC, Business Post or Fastway or City Link

I would aim at paying around the 6 to 7 pound figure to 20kg
