    Default Scuffed Alloy Wheels

Does any one know if anything can be done about scuffed / kerbed alloy wheels? The Vectra i've recently bought looks like it's been driven by a woman!

No, but seriously, any help much appreciated.

Contact 'Chipsaway' mate and get a quote from them. Usually it'd cost around £40-£50.

Only downside with chipsaway, and this may just be my local agent, but he said he couldnt do aftermarket alloys. They would only do factory alloys as they couldnt garuntee a paint match otherwise. He wouldnt even have an attempt and just turned down the job.

If this doesnt apply to you then they are quite good. Do a search for mobile paint repairs on Yell.com for your area as there is usually quite a few listed.

I used chips away to refurb 3 of my Irmscher alloys when I bought them. Cost £111.70 for the 3. Just noticed a small mark or two on the fourth now, dammit. Ah well, get him back I suppose, it's only money.

have a look for a SMART repairer in your area. I had mine done by JJ Smart Repair, It was a fair scuff, he reshaped and painted it, can`t see it now ...
