    Default Oil Burners

I currently run a 3.2 GSi which I must add is a great motor, however I plan to double my millege this year and fancy buying a vec 1.9cdti or a 3.0v6ctdi. My question is can I have the 1.9/3.0 sri with full leather? Anyone know if it was an option, Hopefully it will be a 05 or 55 last of the old shape.

    Cheers Mike

Facelift SRi's don't have leather... unfortunatly.

Go for the CDTi 150, done another long long days driving today and its an absolute joy for high mileage. I do about 3000 to 4000 miles per month, this is definitly the best engine I have had for my sort of driving levels.

    Still very very happy!

Cheers for the input folks, i've been looking through autotrader and network q etc and have been rather taken with a few elite 1.9s and 1 or 2 3.0 models. I suspect a test drive of the 2 different cars is in order to help me decide. The 1.9 seems more readliy available, are elites very softly sprung ie dodgy in the corners or are they bearable in their standard form?

not sure about the elite but their was a massive difference between the sri and the breeze for handling.
Drive both like i did i eventually went for the 1.9 as i didnt think their was £1500 of a difference between the cars.

Elite is a bit soft in the twisty bits but soaks up the bumps brilliantly on the motorway. Can recommend changing to SRi/GSi springs (depending on engine) and leaving the standard shocks - good compromise and I've had no problems with this set up on my 3.2 Elite.
