Default Protected Species - or Obsolete ?

Well I checked out the German OPEL site - looking at the new INSIGNIA - and failed to find any reference to SIGNUM.
Looked at the UK Vauxhall site - and no INSIGNIA - and now no New SIGNUMS - you can still buy a Vectra from new but no SIGNUMS on offer, just second hands.
So are we Signum owners a protected species or are we driving obsolete cars. I love my Signum in perfect black.

Yep, the signum has been dropped in the UK and won't be replaced when the insignia is released.

Thats a shame! Mind you, I think its one of those cars that only people 'in the know' have them. Didnt really take off. Shame though, as such a lovely car!

bye bye Signum - you were great (apart from the little bits that went wrong)

prob dropping it early as there is no direct replacement?

Talking to a guy I know at my local VX dealer..he said the signum is being replaced in 2010 with a "crossover" model that was the signum and Omega.

I have never been quite sure which class the Signum sits in. That's probably why sales have been low for a mass produced production car.. It sat on it's own in no mans land.
