thats very kind of you but sorry I'm a married man
LOL..
nice one CYB
i'm going away with the Mrs Phat the weekend before (becuase i couldn't get time off work during week)
Thing is, it's gonna cost me more to get to the damn place (Newquay) than it will cost me to stay there! oh well, all in the name of valentines eh.
just bought her a new house - next year's going to be tricky topping that one????
Ive just fitted a new spoiler to 'her' carOriginally Posted by JCB
Firstly, she'll get breakfast in bed consisting of a full english with extra toast (buttered all the way to the corners) and steaming hot cup of tea, a glass of cold fresh orange juice and a single white rose.
Whilst she is enjoying this I will run her bath for her and place candles around the room.
After her bath she'll come downstairs walking on rose petals to be met by me with her perfectly laundered clothing for the day. My daughter will be holding a big bunch of flowers for her and my son will be holding some Luxury Chocolates for her.
I'll then go out to her car and ensure that it is has perfectly warmed up for her before she leaves for work.
On returning home from work my wife will walk into the house and be met by the smell of her favourite meal. Soft music will be playing and candles will be lit all around the house. A fresh glass of wine will be waiting for her also. After the meal I will tidy everything away and put our children to bed. She will be relaxing on the sofa with another glass of wine. I'll then put on her favourite movie whilst I gently massage her back. She will fall asleep in my arms and I'll gently carry her to bed and give her a gentle kiss and say 'Happy Valentines'.
not really - We'll probably just exchange cards as normal.
PMSL @ Cyb!!
Well, this is what I did Valentines Day 2002....
Surprised my wife (who was my girlfriend at that time) with a trip to Paris. 1st Class Eurostar, nice hotel etc. etc. On the second day there (Valentines Day) I persuaded her to go up the Eiffel Tower with me to the very top. She wasn't keen (windy, too high) and she had done the Eiffel Tower before. I hadn't been up it before so I managed to twist her arm.
At the top of the tower out on the observation platform, I got down on one knee, whipped out the ring I'd cunningly had made in advance and proposed!! Fortunately she said yes!!
If you've already done the married bit, or proposing isn't on the cards, then I'm sure just a trip to Paris would go down well with her!!
The old favourite of a nice meal in a quiet restaurant always goes down well and could be an option? I think that's my plan for this year!
D
we need a new kettle...so I suppose thats the present sorted out!!!!!
